This appeal arises from a dispute over the probate of John Sullivan's will and a later settlement agreement to which the estate and all children except daughter Nancy Sullivan consented. Following the death of John Sullivan, the district court entered judgment approving a settlement of a will contest and denying Nancy Sullivan's request for a statutory family allowance.
