Following his termination as Chief of Police, Richard H. Witt filed suit against the City of Hollywood (the "City"). This appeal arises from the second trial in this case and, as in the first trial, the jury found in favor of Witt. The City has again appealed the verdict in favor of Witt and Witt has cross-appealed his prevailing party attorney's fees award. The issues raised center largely around the law of the case doctrine.
