On May 3, 2003, the defendant, Phillip Zavitz, a Kane County animal control warden, was involved in a vehicle collision with the plaintiff, Dennis Sperandeo. At the time of the collision, the defendant was transporting a stray dog to an animal control facility in South Elgin. On April 15, 2005, the plaintiff filed suit against the defendant, in his individual capacity, for injuries the plaintiff suffered...
