Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Lake County, defendant Robbie Bishop was convicted of four counts of criminal sexual assault (720 ILCS 5/12-13(a)(1), (a)(3) (West 1998)) and four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault (720 ILCS 5/12-14(a)(2) (West 1998)).
