Lisa Rainer, a former employee of defendant Refco, filed suit against Refco alleging that the termination of her employment on February 17, 2005 constituted actionable discrimination. Andrew Gilliland, Lisa Rainer's son and a part-time Refco employee, had his employment terminated on the same date.
