MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

KENNELLY, District Judge.

Plaintiff, Joan Evoy, as the parent and plenary guardian of Jillian Palenik, sued CRST Van Expedited for injuries her daughter suffered as a result of a catastrophic traffic accident on April 21, 2004 in LaSalle County, Illinois. After CRST admitted that it was liable for the accident, the issue of damages was tried to a jury, which returned a verdict for Evoy in the amount of $23,564,605.97....
