I. INTRODUCTION

After a protracted custody dispute, Roland Monsen successfully moved for an award of attorney's fees against Bennita Rowland under AS 25.20.115. Rowland then sought to have the award set aside as void under Alaska Civil Rule 60(b)(4). She also challenged the award under Civil Rule 60(b)(6) urging that "extraordinary circumstances" warranted relief. The superior court rejected her Rule 60(b) challenges...
