¶ 1. Jeanne Salter Day sued Ocean Springs Hospital System (OSHS) pursuant to the Mississippi Tort Claims Act, Mississippi Code Annotated § 11-46-1 to 23 (Rev.2002). Day alleged that, when visiting a patient at the hospital, she slipped and fell on a puddle of water, injuring her wrist.
