Patrick Dowd was charged with possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and failure to stop for a traffic sign. Dowd filed a motion to suppress that was denied. At the call of the case for trial, the state was granted a continuance. At a subsequent bench trial, the court heard the case on stipulated facts and found Dowd guilty of the offenses charged.
