Broussard, Jr. has sued defendant Stolt Offshore, Inc. under the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C.App. § 688, based on the negligence of Jose Marcos Arias Ayala, a fellow crew member on the vessel Seaway Rover, and under general maritime law for the unseaworthiness of the Seaway Rover.
