Appellant Donald Gene Hudson is the ex-husband of appellee Christina Kyle; the two were married in December of 1996, but Ms. Kyle filed for divorce on April 29, 1997. In her divorce complaint, Ms. Kyle alleged that there were no children of the marriage. Mr. Hudson filed a counterclaim in which he alleged that a minor child, K.H., was "born to the parties," and asked that he be "established as the father of the child" and that the trial court award...
