Following a fire of December 30, 2003, that destroyed his residence in Barrington, New Jersey, the defendant in this criminal matter, Bryan Sharp, was charged with separate counts of second degree aggravated arson under N.J.S.A. 2C:17-1(a)(1) and N.J.S.A. 2C:17-1(a)(3). He now presents the court with the following pretrial motions, the first two of which present issues of first impression not previously addressed by any reported New Jersey...
