On January 3, 2006, the City of New Orleans filed this writ application seeking review of a judgment of the trial court denying its motion for court ordered DNA of the minor child, Kevin Jackson, and its motion to disqualify plaintiffs' counsel. This court denied the writ, finding no abuse of discretion. Defendants sought writs from the Louisiana Supreme Court, which were granted.
