STATE v. WALKER

No. 2005-KA-0876.

929 So.2d 155 (2006)

STATE of Louisiana v. Trudie M. WALKER.

Court of Appeal of Louisiana, Fourth Circuit.

March 15, 2006.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Michael D. Clement, Indigent Defender Board, Belle Chase, LA, for Defendant/Appellant.

(Court composed of Judge TERRI F. LOVE, Judge MAX N. TOBIAS Jr., Judge EDWIN A. LOMBARD).

EDWIN A. LOMBARD, Judge.

Defendant/relator, Trudie Walker, filed this appeal seeking review of a misdemeanor conviction for driving while intoxicated ("DWI"), a violation of La.Rev.Stat. 14:98. Because there is no right of appeal1 from a misdemeanor conviction, see La.Code Crim. Proc. art. 912.1(B), we convert her appeal to an application for supervisory writ. See La.Code Crim. Proc. art. 912.1(C).
