Plaintiff commenced an action for divorce against defendant Dennis Tremont (hereinafter defendant) in August 2004. In connection with a purported reconciliation, defendant asked plaintiff to cosign a business loan using jointly-owned property as collateral. Plaintiff agreed to cosign these loan documents and discontinue her matrimonial action only if defendant signed a postnuptial agreement.
