The Workers' Compensation Board (Board) and the Court of Appeals have affirmed an Administrative Law Judge's (ALJ's) finding that the fall in which the claimant broke her hip was work-related. Appealing, the employer continues to assert that the fall was idiopathic (i.e., that it was caused by something personal to the claimant rather than the employment), that it was not compensable, and that the ALJ shifted the burden of proof to the employer...
