McLACHLAN, J.

The defendant, Austin H. Jones, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a court trial, of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor in violation of General Statutes § 14-227a(a). On appeal, the defendant claims that there was insufficient evidence to establish that he operated his motor vehicle while intoxicated. We conclude that there was and affirm the judgment of the trial court.
