Edward Munao was convicted of child abuse and solicitation to commit aggravated battery. He was sentenced to five years on each count, to be served consecutively. Munao appeals his child abuse conviction asserting that oral statements alone cannot support a conviction for child abuse under section 827.03(1)(b), Florida Statutes.
