The jury heard evidence that on November 20, 2000, the defendant Marcus Dwight robbed Bertha Gonzalez at gunpoint. He took her cell phone, phone charger, and work identification card. The jury found the defendant guilty of armed robbery and the trial court sentenced him to 10 years in prison. Dwight does not deny he committed the armed robbery.
