This appeal arises from a jury trial in which respondent, Scott Wade Ramey, was found guilty of violating an order for protection. The court of appeals reversed Ramey's conviction, holding that the district court erred in giving a no-adverse-inference instruction without Ramey's request or consent and the prosecutor committed misconduct during the closing argument.
