Christopher Daniel Daley ("Chris"), then a high school student, was punched in the back of the head during an after-school altercation on M. Stringer Road. Chris suffered sudden cardiac arrest, apparently due in part to a latent, undisclosed heart condition. Students called 911, summoned a nearby Hall County sheriff's deputy, and administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
