After the trial court denied Donald Quinn Brye's (Appellant) legally dispositive motion to suppress evidence seized during an allegedly unlawful detention and involuntary search, Appellant entered a plea of no contest to the charged offense, possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), while reserving the right to appeal the denial of the motion to suppress. The trial court adjudicated Appellant guilty and sentenced him to 20 months' incarceration...
