In these original proceedings, relators seek writs of mandamus to compel the Mayor and the City Council of Houston, Texas (collectively, "the City") to (1) enter an order declaring the adoption of three propositions as new amendments to the city charter, and (2) certify these new amendments to the Texas Secretary of State.
