ORTEGA, J.

Plaintiff claims that defendant University of Oregon (the university) discriminated against her on the basis of sex and retaliated against her for opposing its allegedly discriminatory practices. At the close of plaintiff's case, the university moved for a directed verdict and involuntary dismissal, both of which the trial court granted. We affirm the involuntary dismissal of plaintiff's discrimination claims, but reverse the directed verdict
