In the years leading up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Palestinian Khaled Abdel-Latif Dumeisi was in close contact with the Iraqi Mission to the United Nations ("IMUN"). Dumeisi's relationship with the IMUN (as well as his 1999 trip to Baghdad) was ostensibly related to the publication of his Arabic language newspaper in a Chicago suburb.
