BENHAM, Justice.

A severely decomposed, partially-skeletonized body was found in August 2002 in a creek behind the Clayton County house occupied by appellant Georgette Benita Thornton and her boyfriend, co-indictee and co-defendant Reginald Lover Rolland. The victim, who had suffered six gunshot wounds to the torso, was identified as Andre Harrison through DNA comparison of blood samples from the parents of Andre Harrison and a sample of the victim's skeletal muscle...
