Guy Stout takes this appeal, from the trial court's partial grant of summary judgment in favor of plaintiff law firm and the subsequent denial of his motion for new trial. He contacted Virginia Boulet, a family friend, and a lawyer with the plaintiff law firm. Boulet subsequently left the firm after she had performed work for Stout1, and the firm sued him "on open account" for alleged legal fees totaling $41,396...
