Following a bench trial, defendant was found guilty of aggravated battery against Randall Blackburn and the burglary of David Demulemeester's home. He was sentenced to an extended-term of six years' imprisonment for the Class 3 felony offense of aggravated battery and a concurrent term of six years imprisonment for the Class X felony offense of burglary.
