The petitioner, Adrian D. Santiago, appeals from the judgment of the habeas court denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. He claims on appeal that (1) the court improperly denied him certification for leave to appeal and (2) the denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus was improper because his trial counsel was burdened by an actual conflict of interest.
