Defendant was charged with three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree related to two separate drug transactions occurring on January 3, 2002 and May 2, 2002. After a jury trial, defendant was acquitted of the two counts associated with the January 3, 2002 transaction, but convicted of the four counts stemming from the May 2, 2002 transaction...
