Necdet Canbaz appeals from the order of the district court denying Canbaz' motion for postconviction relief after an evidentiary hearing.

BACKGROUND

Following a 2004 jury trial resulting in guilty verdicts, Canbaz was convicted of first degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony in the shooting death of Debora Peralta. His convictions and sentences were affirmed by this court on direct appeal in
