Appellee Unión de Tronquistas de Puerto Rico, Local 901 (the union), represents a group of United Parcel Service (UPS) employees who claim that the company owes them back wages for unpaid vacation time. The unpaid vacation consists primarily of days that accrued under expired collective bargaining agreements.
