Defendant appeals from a judgment of conviction for second-degree manslaughter, ORS 163.125, and driving while under the influence of intoxicants (DUII), ORS 813.010. He assigns error to the trial court's denial of his motion to suppress certain statements that he made to a police trooper and to its denial of his motion to suppress the results of a chemical analysis of his blood. We conclude that the trial court should have suppressed defendant's statements...
