Benjamin Chipps, Sr., was convicted by a jury on one count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury, 18 U.S.C. § 113(a)(6), and two counts of simple assault, 18 U.S.C. § 113(a)(5), and he was sentenced to 97 months in prison.
