After losing his job as a bus driver for Laidlaw, Inc. ("Laidlaw"), Eugene Emmanuel filed a grievance with his union, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local Union No. 25 ("Union"), claiming that his termination violated the Union's collective bargaining agreement ("CBA"). The Union unsuccessfully pursued Emmanuel's grievance through arbitration. Dissatisfied with the outcome, Emmanuel sued the Union, claiming that it had violated...
