Plaintiff Julie Straehle ("Straehle") filed suit pursuant to § 1132(a)(1)(B) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 ("ERISA"), 29 U.S.C. §§ 1001 et seq., alleging that defendant CIGNA Life Insurance Company ("CIGNA") wrongfully denied her claim for long-term disability benefits.
