Claude E. Jordan, Sr., a resident of the City of Colonial Heights ("the City"), appeals from the judgment of the Chesterfield County Circuit Court which awarded compensatory and punitive damages against him for defamation of J. Chris Kollman, III, the City's former mayor. Kollman appeals the remittitur of the jury's award by the trial court.
