Benjamin Isaac was charged with three counts of armed robbery and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. After the jury was struck, Isaac entered a nonnegotiated guilty plea and was given three concurrent fifteen-year sentences on the armed robbery charges and a consecutive five-year sentence on the firearm possession charge. Over a year later, the trial court granted Isaac's motion for an out-of-time appeal of his convictions...
