Defendant was charged with a series of crimes arising out of a May 2001 vehicle traffic stop in the City of Watervliet, Albany County. At the time of the stop, three passengers were in the vehicle with defendant; two were found to be in possession of illegal drugs and/or drug paraphernalia.
