San Jacinto River Authority ("SJRA") prosecutes this interlocutory appeal from the trial court's denial of its plea to the jurisdiction. See TEX. CIV. PRAC. & REM.CODE ANN. § 51.014(a)(8) (Vernon Supp.2005). Appellee, Jerry Simmons, filed suit for personal injuries after he slipped and fell at SJRA's sewage treatment facility.
