This lawsuit for a violation of constitutional rights grew out of an afternoon confrontation between a Maine Drug Enforcement agent and a young woman in western Maine. The drug agent was convinced that he was about to obtain a search warrant from a state judge for marijuana-related evidence in the young woman's condominium unit. He therefore "secured" the unit.
