Appellant, Arthur Maurice Meineke, was charged by indictment with the felony offense of arson. See TEX. PEN.CODE ANN. § 28.02 (Vernon 2003). A jury found appellant guilty and the trial court, pursuant to a sentencing agreement, ordered him to serve 30 years' confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
