Lamont Rowan ("Defendant") appeals from the trial court's judgment sentencing him to life imprisonment after a jury convicted him of second-degree felony murder, Section 565.021.1, RSMo 2000.1 In his sole point on appeal, Defendant argues the trial court erred when it sentenced him to life imprisonment, as opposed to a term of years, on the mistaken assumption that a life sentence gave Defendant a better opportunity...
