ARMSTRONG, J.

Defendant appeals from his convictions for assault in the fourth degree, interfering with a police officer, and three counts of harassment. He assigns error to the trial court's failure to instruct the jury on self-defense and defense of others. He argues that we should consider his assigned errors as "plain error" if they were not adequately preserved. The state responds that defendant failed to object to the court's failure to give the requested instructions...
