Appellant, Carl J. Freeman, appeals the order of the Columbia County Circuit Court appointing appellees, Bruce and Beth Rushton, as guardians of the person and estate of their grandson, Alec.1 Appellant argues only one point for reversal: the circuit court erred as a matter of law by granting custody to the child's maternal grandparents instead of to him, the fit biological father.
