Appellant, William Coben Liffick, Jr., was charged by information with possession of less than two ounces of marijuana. See TEX. HEALTH & SAFETY CODE ANN. § 481.121(a)(b)(1) (Vernon 2003). Appellant filed a motion to suppress the marijuana claiming it was illegally obtained from a warrantless search of his vehicle. After his motion was denied, appellant entered a plea of no contest pursuant to a plea agreement...
