ROBERT P. PATTERSON, JR., District Judge.

The Defendant, Clint Fernandez, entered a plea of guilty on October 13, 2004 to possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). Section 924(e) of Title 18 of the United States Code establishes a sentencing enhancement that must be imposed upon persons convicted of violations of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1).
