As a result of his horrific injuries suffered aboard the rig M/V REPUBLIC TIDE, plaintiff-appellee Seth Becker filed suit against defendant-appellee Tidewater, Inc., the owner of the rig, defendant-appellant Baker Hughes, Inc.
