On October 26, 2004, Robert Nesbiet ("Nesbiet") sued General Electric Company ("GE") and other defendants in New York state court alleging, among other things, that he was exposed to asbestos-containing products while employed at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where he worked on the USS Missouri between 1943 and 1944. Nesbiet is suing GE solely on the theory that it failed to warn of the dangers relating to asbestos...
