DAVID PURYEAR, Justice.

A jury found appellant Carolyn Machalec Barnes guilty of interfering with a peace officer and assessed a thirty-day jail term and a $1000 fine. See Tex. Pen.Code Ann. § 38.15 (West 2003). On the jury's recommendation, the trial court suspended imposition of sentence and placed appellant on community supervision.
